Grand Hotel "Golden Sands" Golden Sands A HOTEL COMPLEX IN GOLDEN SANDS RESORT (II award from the international workshop of young architects) THE TASK: In the Golden Sands Resort (Zlatni Piassatci Resort) had to be designed a new hotel complex, including the old Casino Restaurant. The complex will develop in the future into the new public center of the resort. THE SUPPORTING POINTS: 1. The pronounced existing structural axis "Sea -Casino'". 2. The beautiful view of the sea. 3. The architecture of the Casino Restaurant -atrium space. THE SOLUTION: The structural axis develops into a walk-way-stairs, passing through three atrium spaces (entretainment center) and ending in the terraced silhouette of the hotel. The building is cut by the mirror wall, which offers the people behind it, and the people walking towards the hotel a beautiful view of the sea. A chair lift doubles walkway axis, connecting the existing entertainment center in the wood, the new one in the hotel complex and the submarine bar.
